The Basics
Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 4:30 to 8:00 PM PDT at the Alameda County Fairgrounds' new entrance, Walnut Grove at 2005 Valley Avenue, Gate 8, Pleasanton, CA 94566.
Anyone with a ticket. UCON members get member pricing, but non-members and guests are welcome; that's what the non-member ticket tier is for. Bring your team, bring a client, bring a colleague you've been meaning to reconnect with. This is an industry event.
Tickets & Food
Early Bird: Sold out. Standard: $150 member / $250 non-member, until 5 PM Thursday, July 31. Onsite: $200 member / $300 non-member. See the Tickets page.
A full BBQ dinner from our food stations, chili tasting, and your vote in the People's Choice competition, all included. There's also a beer garden, live music, and a lot of people you probably already know.
Chili Cook-Off
No, there is no additional fee to enter the Chili Cook-Off. However, all attendees planning to work at the cook-off booth must register and pay for a BBQ ticket.
Email Rachel Oraa at roraa@unitedcontractors.org. Competing teams must sign and return the Rules & Regulations Commitment form. See the Chili Cook-Off page for the team lineup.
Interest for the following year's Cook-Off typically opens after the current year's event. There is no fee to enter, all team members working a booth must purchase a BBQ ticket. To get on our radar for 2027, email Rachel Oraa at roraa@unitedcontractors.org after the August 6, 2026 event and she'll reach out when registration opens. Teams must sign the Rules & Regulations Commitment form before competing.

Refunds
For a full refund, submit a written cancellation request to Rachel at roraa@unitedcontractors.org one week before the event (by July 30). After July 30, name changes can be made and cancellations can occur, but refunds are no longer eligible.
